A bit of an odd two weeks. My eldest daughter ~Mikey712vs got a phone call last Thursday week giving her the opportunity to go to South Africa and do some film projects for five weeks. Obviously this was out of the question because only a complete moron would try and put together such a quest in 8 days. Morons that we are, it was a to good a chance to miss so a flight was arranged and I waved bye bye to her on Saturday evening from Heathport Airrow and got a call a 2pm the next day to say she was knackered but believed she was in Cape Town. No word since, but I have found her ATM card so expect her to be in touch soon. She has taken memory cards amounting to 24gb so expect to see all things South African in her gallery about septemberish.

It has been strange not hearing Seth Lakeman being played, and the white noise that I always thought was the radioactive aftermath of the big bang turns out to have been her constant chatting. Slightly freaky without it. Anyway, I is really excited for her and wish that planes had been invented when I was young.
